A CURIE Emergency Vessel is a submersible vessel located within the MS CURIE and used to escape the ship in case of an emergency.

After meeting Dr. Catherine Chun, Simon discovers an Emergency Vessel outside of Lambda. He enters it in hopes of using it to reach Theta, but finds out it's broken. Catherine tells him it came from the wreckage of the CURIE.
Simon explores the CURIE and finds a working vessel, but has to destabilize the ship's reactor before it can be used. Catherine attempts to pilot it to Theta, but ends up crash-landing at Delta after the CURIE explodes.
