The QUALIA (RV2) is a submersible robot and research vessel in Haimatsu Technologies' Universal Helper series.
Description
The QUALIA has a retractable arm as well as an antenna. The robot has basic intelligence only, and a pilot is needed to fully utilize its equipment.
Appearances
In SOMA
Simon Jarrett encounters several mutated QUALIAs, called Scavengers, outside Upsilon and Lambda. They appear to have been implanted with brain scans and are able to communicate with Simon.
In Mark Sarang's room in Theta, Simon can find a grainy picture of what appears to be a mutated QUALIA, mistakenly labeled as a UH8.
