Simon finds a voice recording in Omicron revealing that Raleigh, at the time, was going down to the abyss to find site Alpha. Later, while Simon travels through site Alpha, Ross reveals that Raleigh was actually taking a toxin, developed by herself, that would destroy the WAU, but the Warden Unit prevented it by overloading the blackboxes of all the Omicron employees, killing them and exploding their heads.
The toxin Raleigh produced was mixed in the Structure Gel Simon used on his powersuit, which can be used to stop the WAU in Ross's favor.
